It truly is a versatile and amazing plug-in. I like it for mastering, but adore it for its stereo widener which I use a lot for audio-post projects (on BGs and SFX). I also feel its EQ matching abilities -- taking a "sample" of one sound's EQ and applying it to another is very useful for matching dialogue tracks and other such fixes. It has a lot of depth -- you are going to find exploring it all will keep you busy for some time. BTW: iZotope just announced version 5!

Sadly, there are many would-be businesses that simply don't get it. One day I called a rental house and the owner picked up the phone with "Yeah, rental house here. Whaddya want?" When I asked whether he had a certain piece of equipment to rent, he replied, "Uh, I think so. It's 50 a day plus delivery. When d'ya want it?"

D'oh!

BTW: The site's new look is really slick! Keep on writing.

You make a good case here. You don't need *everybody* - you just need a few fans that really like what you do. Trying to appeal to one and all is a recipe for disaster. Find your niche and work it hard!
